How I work

People often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves or unsure why certain patterns, emotions or reactions keep coming up. My work is focused on creating a space where we can explore these experiences at your pace.

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, with an understanding that trauma can be held in the body and in different "parts" of ourselves that developed to help us cope. Rather than trying to fix or get rid of these parts, I see therapy as a process of getting to know them with curiousity and compassion.

I have experience with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and life transitions. I also have particular experience working with bereavement with Cruse Scotland, including suicide bereavement.

I see therapy as a process of rebuilding trust in yourself and learning to listen to the signals your mind and body give you. My aim is to offer a space where you can explore what’s painful while also reconnecting to your strength, resilience and self-trust.

Sessions & Format

Sessions last 50 minutes and take place online via Google meet. You'll need a stable internet connection and a private space without distractions, where you can speak freely. I work with anyone aged 16+ in the UK.

I offer a free 20 minute initial chat over the phone to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer any questions and see if we're a good fit.
